DIRECT2PC™

Transform your personal computer into a virtual hub for your DIRECTV satellite TV service. Stream your favorite recorded shows and movies when you want, on your PC. And, it’s easy to use as this technology utilizes the same interface as your original service. This free application even allows you to watch one show on your computer while streaming another and recording something new on the TV. Other free mobile applications are free as well.

Remote Controls

There are three remote controls available from DIRECTV. With the Universal Remote, you can control up to four components ranging from your receiver, TV, VCR and DVD player. When time comes to replace your battery, this remote’s memory system will dismiss any potential programming issues. The next option is the Universal RF Remote and its RF capable (Radio Frequency). This makes it so that you don’t have to point your remote directly at the TV to change the channel. The user friendly structure possess the same features as the Universal Remote and includes a convenient back-light that makes it easy to control in low-light settings. Lastly, the Big Button Remote showcases increased button sizes to allow for larger font that is easier to read. This remote offers the same features as the Universal and Universal RF Remotes.

DIRECTV™ iPad® App

Make your favorite tablet a virtual hub of entertainment controls for added convenience. This feature includes a 14-day guide that allows you to browse shows, movies and sports over a week in advance. Record shows from your iPad® while you watching programming on your TV. You can also use the iPad® App to control your television, choosing shows to watch and even pausing and rewinding live TV. To get going with this innovative option simply connect your HD DVR receiver to the internet and download the application to your device.

DIRECTV® DVR Scheduler

This convenient application allows you to schedule recordings of your favorite shows from seemingly anywhere. Use your smartphone or tablet to schedule recordings the moment you think to do it. Browse show listings, read detailed information about programs and even order movies from DIRECTV CINEMA™.

DIRECTV®HD 3D

Forget about spending an arm and leg at the movie theater for 3D entertainment. Now you can get cutting-edge 3D technology in your own home with DIRECTV.
