return to normal viewing.
PROGRAMMING
A SATELLITE:
To add a new satellite to a Monterey model receiver, you must first
locate a satellite that has the same format as the satellite you are
trying to locate. (For example if you want to add a Galaxy satellite,
go to the nearest Galaxy satellite you have in memory, however there
are some exceptions to this rule (Refer to your satellite TV guide or
our satellite chart to find the closest
similar satellite). As an example here is how to program the GE-1 (W1)
satellite.
1. Move
to G4/06, confirm the picture as Shepard's Chapel. Change to channel
19. Press MENU
then 9
(SAT DEFINITION). Using the UP

on the remote, move the CURSOR to the line that says ADD NEW SATELLITE
and press ENTER.

The screen will tell you that the satellite is added and the new name
should be showing in the upper right corner of your screen. Using the

move the cursor to SAT.
TYPE:
press the LEFT
arrow several
times to change the type to ASC,
press ENTER
and rename it GE-1
(renaming an existing satellite's type it will rename all satellites
of that type. Since we used G4 as a base we need to change it to something
not used any longer then change it to GE-1, that why ASC was chosen).
Press MENU,
